PROJECT OVERVIEW

Infinitas Design, a heat pump consultation company, came to us with the idea to update its branding and website in line with their company ethics. Infinitas strive to implement renewable energy across the UK through heat pumps solutions, achieving net zero by 2050. To better portray this stance against climate change, we stepped in to reimagine their brand and digital interface.

THE CHALLENGE

We discovered several challenges during a thorough UX audit that helped us conclude that it was best to start fresh. One challenge that was quickly noted is that Infinitas Design offer a complex service that needed braking down into digestible chunks for users to quickly understand and get on board. That’s when we approached Infinitas Design with the idea to “Demystify heat pump solutions with clear communication”.

DISCOVERY & ANALYSIS

Infinitas Design was currently going through a large business proposition shift meaning we had to research and gather new data from our client and future users. Infinitas Design was very open about who they targeted for renewable energy consultation until they narrowed their offerings specifically to heat pumps. This meant that we needed to go through several discovery sessions to reimagine who our users were and why we were targeting them. Luckily, we worked closely with the Infinitas team using their years of experience and expertise to understand and develop a brand-new user persona. We then used this data to analyse critical use cases and identify key functionality requirements for the website.

IDEATE &
IMPLEMENT

To challenge the likes of big corporations that held a firm place in the market we needed to start thinking about how we stood out. Through some brainstorming exercises we concluded that we needed to generate unique content that could create a lot of noise above and beyond our competitors. Content that would provide value in the hands of potential clients and show expertise at Infinitas’ core. To develop a platform that supports content creation we needed to start sketching and wireframing the website out. Visualising how the users flow through the website, locating key functionality means we can iron out any problems in our initial solution before we go to development.

THE OUTCOME

The repositioning and rebranding of Infinitas Design have shown great success since its initial launch. Once we narrowed our focus on a key target market, we were able to develop a brand that resonates with our audience. Clear communication between business and client was vital in enabling Infinitas to deliver complex consultations to any client. Working off the new brand, we developed a website that supported content creation to reach new audiences and drive traffic into a lead generation funnel. All of which played its part in a spike in consumer interest and conversion rates.
