We’ve worked alongside Suzanne and her team for over 10 years helping with various design projects, but after a change in business direction and a new plan for growth and expansion, a full rebrand was required.
The brief was simple…Reposition Mortgage & Finance Arena and introduce a more human element to the brand that would connect with various target audiences.
The challenge was not so simple…How do we create a consistent tone and style for a diverse marketplace with 3 different core offerings and 26 different services, all whilst sticking to the strict FCA guidelines which limited what we could and couldn’t say.
Through a series of strategic thinking sessions (and an even more strategic selection of cakes and biscuits) we identified a core customer proposition that became the underlying characteristic of the brand.
We then got to work plugging all of this into the 23 Skidoo brand generation machine (Alan’s head), turning this idea into voice, imagery and colours, and then extending it across both online (website, social media etc) and offline (folders, greeting cards, banners) touchpoints.
Within just a few days of launching their new brand, MFA were receiving positive feedback from their target market. The business has continued to grow year on year ever since, moving into bigger offices and recruiting new team members who are confident in the brand.
